6th National Congress of VIP Artists Ongoing in Tabriz

Iran's Tabrizis is hosting the 6th National Congress of Pioneering Artists with top figures from different art fields attending.

The art VIPs who attend the conference come from different fields of art, including Cinema, Television Theater, Music, Calligraphy, Poetry, Fictional Literature, Traditional Arts and Architecture.

The three-day national event is being held, kicking off on July 11, 2017.

In the arena of motion pictures alone, among dozens of prominent international awards grabbed by Iranian movies in the post- Islamic Revolution era, 32 are standing out, including 3 Oscar awards.   

The institute for pioneering artists is one of the institutes affilaited to the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance which was inaugurated in 2011. It has 660 members in different fields of arts.
